Gist is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Logistics UK Logistics Awards 2024. 

Gist’s continued focus on sustainability and reducing its environmental impact has seen the company shortlisted in the Decarbonisation Champion of the Year category. 

Yasmin Wilks, Sustainability Manager, said: “Being shortlisted by Logistics UK alongside other leading logistics companies demonstrates Gist’s dedication to sustainability over the past year. We’ve focused on reducing our environmental impact and preparing for a sustainable future. This includes initiatives such as trialling bio-CNG vehicles, and electric rigids to find an optimal solution for replacing diesel, calculating our Scope 3 carbon footprint, and working to improve waste. It’s inspiring to see our efforts recognised, and we are committed to continuing this vital journey to net zero.” 

The winner will be announced at an award ceremony in London on 12 December.
