Logistics specialist Gist has launched an impressive programme of safety training across its employee-base, which will result in every manager in the UK receiving a formal qualification and recognition from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

After completing a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University, Charlie Oretti has recently joined Gist as its first ever Engineering Graduate.

Temperature controlled logistics specialist Gist has commenced a trial of the UK’s first fully autonomous, all-electric engineless refrigerated trailer system, the Vector eCool, developed by Carrier Transicold and Gray and Adams.

Gist has partnered with Road Tech Computer Systems Ltd to provide their leading tachograph analysis system Tachomaster for its day to day operations across its fleet of HGVs.

Gist has converted to 100% renewable electricity to reduce its carbon emissions in 2021. This change forms part of ongoing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
